Ep 6. Logical Fiction

Kotoko investigates a strange case involving a family who claims that their house is being haunted by a ghost. The family has tried various methods to get rid of the ghost, but nothing seems to work. Kotoko believes that the ghost is not the problem, but there is something else going on.

As Kotoko tries to piece together the mystery, she meets a young girl who is a fan of her blog. The girl is convinced that fairies are responsible for the strange occurrences in the family's house. Kotoko initially dismisses the girl's claims, but as she continues her investigation, she begins to think that there might be something to them.

Meanwhile, the investigation takes a dark turn when Kotoko and Kuro learn that the family's troubles might be connected to a supernatural creature known as a Noppera-bo. Noppera-bo are shape-shifting creatures that can take on the appearance of anyone they choose. They are known to feed on the fear and despair of their victims.

Kotoko realizes that the Noppera-bo might be using the family's fear of the ghost to feed on their emotions. She comes up with a plan to use the power of logic and reason to defeat the creature. The plan involves creating a "logical fiction" that will trick the Noppera-bo into revealing itself.

With Kuro's help, Kotoko sets her plan in motion. However, as the plan unfolds, Kotoko begins to realize that things may not be quite as they seem. She must use all of her wits to outsmart the Noppera-bo and protect the family from its demonic influence.

As the episode comes to a close, Kotoko and Kuro reflect on the events of the day. They both realize that the world is full of mysteries that can't be explained by science or logic alone. Despite this, they vow to continue their work as mediators between the spirit world and the world of humans.
