Instant Mom is a television show that follows the life of a young woman named Stephanie Phillips who marries an older man with three children. Throughout the episode, Stephanie learns that being a stepmom is not as easy as she thought and there are indeed some growing pains. She wants to connect with Charlie's kids but does not want to overstep. At the same time, Gabby and James, who have had a hard time accepting their dad's new relationship, are starting to come around.
