Sunny, the top clipper of Baron Quinn, goes out to investigate the theft of his cargo from the train. He tracks down the thieves to a poverty-stricken and lawless area controlled by the Widow. The Widow is also a baron with her own army of clippers, and she offers Sunny lucrative terms of surrender. She says that she can offer him freedom from Baron Quinn's tyranny. But Sunny is loyal to Baron Quinn and rejects the offer.
Meanwhile, a young boy named MK is being kept by the Widow as her own 'special' project. She believes that MK has the power to unleash a deadly strength and she wants to weaponize that power. Quinn, on the other hand, is also searching for MK, as he believes that he could be the key to his cure from a terminal illness.
Towards the end of the episode, the fight sequences become more intense. Sunny meets the Widow's Regent, Tilda, and is captivated by her skills in martial arts. Sunny finds out that the Widow is planning an attack on Baron Quinn's poppy fields, which produce his opium supplies. Baron Quinn's opium monopoly has made him wealthy and powerful, and an attack on his supply chain could cripple his hold over the Badlands.
The episode ends with the Widow launching an attack on Quinn's poppy fields. Sunny is caught in the crossfire, fighting for his life against the Widow's army of clippers, and trying to protect Quinn's interests. The fight scenes are choreographed to perfection and the action is non-stop. The plot thickens as Sunny comes to know more about the Widow's plan for the Badlands, and the true intentions of his own Baron.
Overall, Fist Like A Bullet, is a thrilling second episode of Into The Badlands. It further develops the characters and the storyline of the series, and sets up intense action sequences for the upcoming episodes. The show is full of suspense, drama, and great martial arts action that will leave viewers on the edge of their seats.
