Inuyasha Eng Dub Season 1 Episode 17 Corrupted Ink of the Hell Painter

  • February 26, 2001

Kagome and her friends continue their journey to collect the shards of the powerful Shikon Jewel. After encountering a village where everyone has fallen asleep, they learn about a painter named Sekiboku who has been using his magic ink to control people's dreams. The group decides to investigate and ends up stumbling upon a mysterious painting of a fabled demon.

When the team attempts to destroy the painting, they are sucked into it and imprisoned within the dreams of the villagers. They soon realize that Sekiboku has trapped them there in order to steal their spiritual energy. Inuyasha and Kagome must work together to break free from the grips of their own dreams and defeat the painter before he can consume them completely.

As they navigate their way through the dark and surreal world of Sekiboku's painting, they encounter several obstacles. They are chased by dreamlike creatures and struggle to discern what is real and what is merely a projection of their own subconscious. Meanwhile, Sekiboku continues to siphon their spiritual energy, growing stronger with each passing moment.

Just when it seems that the group may be stuck in the painting forever, they are aided by a surprising ally. With the help of this newcomer, they are able to break free from their own dreams and confront Sekiboku in a final showdown. In an epic battle of wills, the group manages to defeat the painter and destroy the painting once and for all.

With the village free from Sekiboku's grasp, the group continues on their journey, one step closer to completing their quest for the Shikon Jewel. But as they leave the village behind, they can't help but wonder what other dangers might lie ahead, and whether they will be able to overcome them just as they did Sekiboku's corrupted ink.
