Ep 1. I Knew at First Glance That It Was No Ordinary Fluffball

In the first episode of Is the Order a Rabbit?, viewers are introduced to protagonist Cocoa Hoto. The show follows Cocoa as she moves to a new town called Colmar, where she hopes to attend a prestigious high school for girls. However, things don't go exactly as planned, and Cocoa finds herself lost in the middle of town with no idea where to go.

Despite her initial confusion and awkwardness, Cocoa quickly becomes enamored with the girls and their café. She decides to apply for a job there, and after impressing everyone with her charm and energy (and a particularly impressive feat of latte art), she's offered a position.

The rest of the episode focuses on Cocoa's introduction to her new workplace and the charming cast of characters who work there. There's Chino, the shy and reserved owner's daughter who's secretly a bit of a tsundere; Rize, a tough and militaristic girl who's a bit of a gun nut; and Chiya, a cheerful and carefree girl who works at a rival café across the street.

As Cocoa gets to know her new coworkers, she begins to realize that there's a lot more to Rabbit House than meets the eye. In particular, she can't shake the feeling that there's something strange going on with Tippy. Though he's adorable and fluffy, there's a hint of something sinister lurking behind his big, bulging eyes.

Despite this mystery, the first episode of Is the Order a Rabbit? is largely a light and fluffy affair, introducing viewers to a charming cast of characters and a cozy, quaint café. With its cute visuals, witty humor, and gentle slice-of-life pacing, it's the perfect show for anyone looking for a lighthearted and heartwarming anime to brighten up their day.
