After a successful performance during the school's cultural festival, the Light Music Club is excited to participate in the upcoming summer festival. Yui, Mio, Ritsu, and Tsumugi quickly get to work practicing their songs and preparing their costumes for the big event. However, they soon realize they need a fifth member to help them sound their best.

They turn to Azusa, their junior club member who has always had reservations about their music and antics. After being convinced by Yui and the others, Azusa reluctantly agrees to join them for the festival.

As they continue to practice, tension begins to rise as the girls start to feel the pressure of performing in front of a large crowd. Yui is especially nervous as she has a guitar solo in one of their songs. However, their club advisor, Sawako, is there to cheer them on and offer words of encouragement.

On the day of the festival, the girls put on their best performance yet. They play all their popular songs and Azusa seamlessly fits in with the group. The crowd is thoroughly entertained and the girls receive thunderous applause at the end of their set.

After their performance, the Light Music Club decides to have some fun at the festival. They go on carnival rides and play games, but they quickly realize that they spent too much money. They then use their musical talents to earn some money by busking on the streets.

As they continue to play, they attract a large crowd and even manage to sell their CDs. Their success leads to a local talent scout offering them a gig at a nearby live house. The girls are ecstatic and quickly agree to the opportunity.

The episode ends with the Light Music Club excitedly planning for their upcoming gig. They reflect on their success at the summer festival and look forward to their future as a band.
