In Kindred Spirits season 1 episode 8, the team of paranormal experts, Amy Bruni and Adam Berry, travel to Old Town, Maine to investigate a haunted apartment building. Finally, Amy and Adam attempt a group EVP session to communicate with any spirits present. Through the EVP session, they are able to make contact with what they believe is the spirit of the young girl who died in the building. The spirit is able to communicate bits of information to the team, including her name, and a message of forgiveness for her mother and father.

After their investigation, Amy and Adam present their findings to the building's tenants, giving them a sense of peace and closure. They also provide some tips and insights on how to live peacefully with any spirits in the building.
