Ep 2. Stinging Punishment

In Kings of Pain season 1 episode 2, titled "Stinging Punishment," hosts Adam Thorn and Rob "Caveman" Alleva continue their quest to test out the most painful insect stings in the world. The duo travel to the tropical rainforests of Ecuador to face off against the infamous Bullet Ant, known for its excruciating sting.

Before the main event, Adam and Rob visit a local shaman who uses the stings of the Bullet Ant in a ceremonial ritual. The shaman generously offers to let the hosts experience the pain for themselves, and they happily oblige. Even though the sting is brief, both men are left writhing in agony.

Next, the hosts head deeper into the jungle to find the Bullet Ant colony. After some intense searching and precarious climbing, Adam and Rob locate the nest and prepare to face the ants head-on. To ensure maximum pain, they use forceps to pick up each ant and hold it against their arm for a full minute.

But the Bullet Ant sting proves to be more than just a physical challenge. As the hosts endure the pain, they also start to experience intense hallucinations and altered states of consciousness. Despite the overwhelming discomfort, they push through to complete their mission.

Between stingings, the hosts take a break to discuss their experiences and reflect on the nature of pain. They also review footage of other painful insect stings and compare them to their current ordeal.

In the end, Adam and Rob rate the Bullet Ant sting as one of the most painful experiences of their lives. But despite the agony, they leave with a newfound respect for the resilience and tenacity of these tiny creatures.
