In Knight Rider season 3 episode 1, titled "Knight of the Drones, Pt. 1 & 2," Michael and KITT are summoned by the Foundation for Law and Government (FLAG) to investigate a mysterious new threat. A group of drones, equipped with advanced artificial intelligence, are wreaking havoc across the country, causing destruction and endangering innocent lives.

Michael and KITT set out to track down the source of these drones, managing to intercept one of them in the process. Examining the drone's technology, they discover that it was created by a rogue scientist named Tanya Walker, who has a grudge against the government. She has built an army of drones to carry out her vengeful plans and is targeting major cities across the United States.

As Michael and KITT race against time to stop the drones and prevent their next attack, they encounter several obstacles along the way. Tanya has programmed the drones to learn from their experiences, making them more difficult to defeat with each encounter. KITT is also challenged to keep up with the advanced technology of the drones, and Michael must rely on his wits and experience to outsmart their creators.

Throughout both parts of the episode, Michael and KITT have to use all their skills and resources to stop the drones from causing widespread destruction. They must also use teamwork and communication to overcome the challenges they face, proving that the bond between a man and his machine is unshakable.

"Knight of the Drones" combines action, suspense, and sci-fi elements to create an exciting two-part episode that will keep audiences on the edge of their seats. With its engaging storyline and well-crafted action sequences, it's an excellent start to Knight Rider's third season.
