La Corda Doro Season 1 Episode 21 Andante Again

  • February 25, 2007

Kahoko is surprised when she receives chorus sheets from the principal, announcing that Seiso Academy will be holding a chorus competition. Although she is not an official member of the school's choir, Kahoko decides to enter the competition with Len's reluctant support, hoping to help out her school in any way she can.

The group's first practice is a disaster; the choir members are all out of sync and the piece they've chosen is too difficult for most of them. Despite the difficulties, Kahoko refuses to give up on the competition and pushes the group to practice harder. Eventually, the choir begins to improve, with Kahoko and Len's musical abilities helping them to find the right notes and harmonies.

However, things take an unexpected turn when Aoi, a choir member and one of Kahoko's classmates, becomes ill and is forced to drop out of the competition. With Aoi gone and only a week left until the competition, the choir's chances of winning seem slim.

Kahoko's friends offer to help out by finding a replacement for Aoi, but Len is skeptical. He suggests that the choir should focus on improving their technique instead of trying to find a substitute member, pointing out that it's unlikely that someone would be able to learn the piece in such a short amount of time.

Despite Len's reservations, Kahoko decides to take matters into her own hands and searches for a replacement herself. She eventually finds a girl named Mai who has a beautiful voice but is hesitant to join the choir due to a past trauma.

Kahoko convinces Mai to overcome her fears and join the choir, and the group is able to get back on track with their practice. However, as the competition draws closer, Kahoko is plagued with doubts about their chances of winning. She worries that their hard work won't be enough to beat the other school's choirs, especially when she realizes that one of their competitors is her old music rival, Azuma.

Despite her doubts, Kahoko continues to push the choir to practice harder and improve their techniques. Finally, the day of the competition arrives, and Kahoko and the choir give it their all, performing a stunning rendition of their chosen piece that leaves the judges and audience members in awe.

In the end, Kahoko and the choir are surprised to learn that they've won first place in the competition. Elated by their victory, they all gather together for a celebratory dinner, with Kahoko reflecting on how their hard work and determination paid off in the end.

Overall, the episode showcases Kahoko's determination and leadership skills as she helps her school's choir to overcome their difficulties and win the competition. It also highlights the importance of teamwork and how even the smallest contributions can make a big difference when working towards a common goal.
