Hino Kahoko is a first-year student at Seiso Academy who was reluctantly persuaded to participate in the school's music competition. Kahoko, who had no musical background prior to joining the competition, has been given a magical violin that allows her to hear the music of the spirits. With this gift, she is able to play music on par with her more experienced peers.
