Ep 8. Romancing The Stone

In the eighth episode of the eighth season of Last Man Standing, titled "Romancing The Stone," Mike and Vanessa find themselves at odds when they disagree over the best way to teach their grandson, Boyd, a valuable life lesson. At the same time, Ryan and his team follow Kyle to a hotel, where they discover that he's been secretly planning a surprise birthday party for his wife, Mandy. Ryan feels guilty for suspecting Kyle and congratulates him on a job well done.

Back at the Baxter house, Boyd successfully repairs the stone with Mike's guidance, and he learns that hard work and determination can pay off in unexpected ways. The episode ends with the Baxter family coming together for a special dinner, where they celebrate both Boyd's accomplishment and Mandy's surprise party.
