Ep 15. As Good As It Getz

Initially, Murtaugh is not interested in the information and brushes him off, but when Leo reveals that he had been an informant for Murtaugh's father, he reluctantly agrees to hear him out.

Leo tells Murtaugh that Porter is currently in the country and has been watching Gideon Lyon. In exchange for his information, Leo wants Murtaugh's help in getting out of a tax evasion case. Murtaugh agrees, and soon they find out that Porter is planning to raid Gideon's house and steal all the fake money.

With this information, Riggs and Murtaugh rush to Gideon's house and confront Porter and his men. In the ensuing gunfight, Porter and his men are taken down, but not before he reveals that he had nothing to do with the counterfeiting operation. It is later revealed that the operation was being carried out by none other than Gideon Lyon himself, using Porter as a decoy.

Gideon admits to the crime and reveals that he was desperate for money to support his lavish lifestyle. The episode ends with Riggs and Murtaugh congratulating each other on another successful case.
