Ep 3. Buck Saves the Day

Al Bundy, a former high school football star from the fictional town of Chicago, is now a married father of two working at a shoe store, constantly bickering with his wife Peggy.

In season 4 episode 3, titled "Buck Saves the Day," Al and Peggy go on vacation, leaving their nosy neighbor Marcy in charge of taking care of their beloved dog, Buck. Marcy, who is known for her dislike of Buck, doesn't want to take care of him but agrees to do so because she thinks it will impress her new boyfriend, Steve.

However, Marcy's plans get derailed when Steve comes down with a cold and is unable to spend time with her. No longer able to use Buck as a means of impressing him, Marcy locks the dog in the Bundys' backyard and goes about her day.

Meanwhile, Buck discovers that Marcy has left the gate open, and decides to explore the neighborhood. He quickly gets into trouble when a group of stray dogs start to chase him. Buck manages to escape, but is soon picked up by the dog catcher and taken to the pound.

Unaware of Buck's misadventures, Marcy returns to the Bundys' house and is shocked to find that Buck is missing. She frantically searches for him, but is unable to find him. Just as she is about to give up, the phone rings and she learns that Buck has been taken to the pound.

Marcy rushes to the pound, where she is greeted by a surly employee who informs her that Buck will be put down if he isn't claimed by the end of the day. Marcy is desperate to save Buck, but doesn't have enough money to pay the fine to get him out.

In an unlikely turn of events, Al shows up at the pound, having returned from vacation early after receiving a call from his desperate wife. When he learns of Buck's situation, he decides to rally the neighborhood to raise the money needed to save the dog.

With the clock ticking down, Al and his friends work together to collect enough money to pay the fine and save Buck. In the end, the dog is rescued and returned to the Bundys, much to Marcy's dismay.

"Buck Saves the Day" is a heartwarming episode that showcases the enduring bond between a pet and its owners, and the lengths that people will go to in order to protect and care for their furry friends.
