Bundy family is back with another entertaining episode in Married...with Children season 6 episode 20 - High I.Q. The fun-filled sitcom is written by Michael Moye and Ron Leavitt and directed flawlessly by Gerry Cohen. The episode was first aired on March 6, 1992, on Fox Network.

The comedy series is a quintessential portrayal of a dysfunctional family. High I.Q. is no different, as the episode takes a hilarious dive into the lives of Bundy family members. The plotline starts with Peggy Bundy receiving a phone call from the fictional "Buckingham Palace Preparatory School" announcing that out of nowhere, their son Bud, has received a full scholarship to their school. According to the aptitude test he took at his current high school, he scored 150.

The Bundy family who is used to being average is initially impressed by the news. But when the school arrives to pick up Bud, the family discovers what they’ve gotten themselves into. The school is an elite society of people with very high IQs where the only companion a child will have is his books, and the school is located in a far-off remote area, resembling a prison.

However, this doesn't stop the family's excitement as the scholarship also comes with a full housekeeping service, which means no house chores for Peggy. Since Peggy is so thrilled about this, she tries to get Al to sign the papers. However, Al’s doubts start to prove fruitful when he meets the school’s headmaster (Larry Cedar). The headmaster starts talking about how they implement intense study hours with no playtime or contact with the outside world, which sounds like a nightmare. However, Peggy is determined to send Bud to the school despite hearing what the headmaster has to say.

Soon enough, the repercussions of Bud’s new school kicks in, and the Bundy family discovers what they've gotten themselves into. The show takes viewers on an entertaining journey showcasing the Bundy's hilarious attempts to get Bud to come home. They bribe him, try to hire someone to kidnap him and eventually attempt a prison-like escape. But nothing works, and Buck ordered the hit on the kidnapper to maintain his pride and the scholarship. While everyone is busy trying to return Bud back home, Kelly takes advantage of the opportunity to get some space and become the center of attention. We soon find out that she’s been faking her inability to learn and does so to avoid doing chores. She decides to fake another learning disability about a subject named "norbacmil" to avoid advance placement classes and eventually get a free ride to her dream college in Hawaii.

High I.Q. is one of the most memorable episodes of Married…with Children.
