Master Debaters was a sports-related television competition show that aired on Fuel TV in 2011. The show was hosted by comedian Jay Mohr, and featured two teams comprised of former athletes and comedians facing off in a debate-style format. The show also included Na'im Lynn, as the "roving reporter" who interviewed various celebrities and audience members.

The concept of the show revolved around two teams of three people who debated two topics per episode - with each team arguing for either the affirmative or negative side of each issue. During the debates, each team member had to take turns speaking, presenting their arguments, and making their case for why their side of the issue was correct.

The judges for each debate were a panel of three experts in the relevant field, who then awarded points based on the quality of the arguments presented. The team that earned the most points, won the debate.

What set Master Debaters apart from other debate-style TV shows was that the topics being argued were all based around sports-related issues. This meant that the show's debates often brought up controversial or unusual concepts, which made for some entertaining and engaging TV.

Aside from the debates, there were a few other elements that made the show stand out. For one thing, the show incorporated a real-time Twitter feed into the broadcast, allowing viewers to tweet their responses to the debates and see those tweets displayed on the screen. This was particularly popular with younger viewers, who were already familiar with social media and loved being able to see their own contributions as part of the show.

Another unique aspect of the show was the inclusion of Na'im Lynn, who served as the program's 'roving reporter.' Lynn would often make his way through the audience and interview various people, from celebrities to ordinary people, to get their thoughts on the debate topics. This added an additional layer of humor and liveliness to the show.

The cast of characters on Master Debaters was clearly chosen for their sports-related knowledge and quick-wittedness. Jay Mohr was an excellent host, who kept the show moving along with his comedic timing and quick ad-libs. Meanwhile, the athletes who were part of the show brought their own knowledge and perspective to the debates, which gave the show a serious tone at times. The comedians on the show were also well chosen, as they brought the humor and wit necessary to keep things lively and exciting throughout the broadcast.

Overall, Master Debaters was a unique TV show that combined sports and comedy in a way that had never been done before. The show had a fun and lively tone, which kept viewers engaged and interested throughout each debate. The social media integration and interviews with audience members made the show feel interactive and relevant, while the expert judges gave each debate a sense of gravity and authority.

While Master Debaters only aired for one season on Fuel TV, it remains a beloved and nostalgic show for many sports fans and TV viewers who enjoyed the unique twist that it put on the debate format.
