Maury Season 23 Episode 177 A Donkey Kick Made Me Sterile...I'm Not Your Baby's Dad!
- July 22, 2015
Maury is back with another incredible installment of drama, accusations, and DNA tests. This time, a man is claiming that his ex-girlfriend's baby is not his, despite her insistence that it is. The reason? A donkey kick that supposedly left him sterile.
The episode opens with the man, named John, explaining his side of the story. He tells Maury that he and his ex-girlfriend were together for six months before they broke up. After they split, she told him that she was pregnant and that he was the father. However, he claims that he knows for a fact that he is not the father because a donkey kicked him in the groin a few years ago, leaving him unable to have children.
Maury is skeptical but tells John that he will do a DNA test to find out if he is indeed the father. Meanwhile, the ex-girlfriend, named Sarah, is backstage getting ready to come out and defend her position. She believes that John is the father and has been hurt by his refusal to accept responsibility.
When Sarah finally joins John onstage, the tension is palpable. She tells Maury that she knows John is the father because they were together around the time she conceived the baby. She also says that she has never cheated on John and that she has been hurt by his accusations.
Maury decides to do the DNA test and sends Sarah backstage to wait for the results. John stays onstage, looking anxious and nervous. As they wait for the results, Maury asks John about the donkey kick and whether he has any medical documentation to support his claims of sterility. John says that he doesn't have any paperwork but that he knows his body and knows that he can't have children.
After what seems like an eternity, the results of the DNA test come in. Maury reads the results out loud, saying that there is a 0% chance that John is the father. John looks relieved but Sarah starts crying and shaking her head. She can't believe that the man she thought was the father has just been proven not to be.
Maury asks Sarah if there is anyone else who could be the father. She thinks for a moment and then admits that there is another man she had relations with around the same time. Maury asks if that man could be the father and Sarah says that it's possible but she doesn't know for sure.
Maury then suggests that they do a DNA test with the other man and Sarah agrees. A few minutes later, the other man comes out onstage and Maury does the DNA test. The results show that he is indeed the father of Sarah's baby.
In the end, John apologizes to both Sarah and Maury for his accusations and the drama ends with Sarah thanking Maury for helping her find the truth. The episode ends with Maury reminding the viewers that not all DNA tests end the way people expect them to, and that there is always more to the story.
