Maya The Bee is an animated children's television series produced in Australia, based on the classic children's book by Waldemar Bonsels. The series follows the adventures of Maya, a young bee who is eager to explore the world outside of her hive and make new friends. In season 1 episode 6, titled "Rose House," Maya and her friends discover a beautiful, but mysterious, house made entirely out of roses.
As the episode begins, Maya and her best friend Willy are flying through the meadow when they come across a strange and magnificent structure made entirely out of roses. They are immediately curious and eager to explore it, but when they try to enter, they are stopped by a group of bees who tell them that they cannot enter without permission from the owner. Maya and Willy are disappointed but determined, so they set out to find the owner and ask for permission.
Along the way, Maya and Willy encounter several other insects who are also fascinated by the Rose House, including a group of curious butterflies and a friendly grasshopper who has been living in the rose bushes for years. They ask everyone they meet if they know who owns the Rose House, but no one has any answers. Maya and Willy are starting to lose hope, but then they come up with a plan.
They decide to organize a grand tour of the Rose House to show the owner how much love and appreciation there is for their creation. They gather all their insect friends together and make signs and banners to promote the tour. They even convince the butterflies to help decorate the Rose House with colorful ribbons and flowers to make it look even more beautiful.
Finally, the day of the tour arrives, and Maya and Willy lead their friends on a journey through the Rose House, showing off its many wonders and marvels. They explain how each room is crafted entirely from roses, and how the scent of the flowers fills the air with a sweet and fragrant aroma. As they explore more and more of the house, they begin to realize that there is something very special about it.
Just as they are about to give up, they hear a voice calling out to them. It turns out that the owner of the Rose House has been living there all along, a shy and reclusive bee named Ramona. She tells them that she has always been too afraid to show her creation to anyone else, but seeing how much joy and wonder it brings to Maya and her friends has given her the courage to open up and share it with the world.
Maya and her friends are overjoyed and grateful to Ramona for letting them see inside the Rose House. They tell her how much they love it and how it has inspired them all. In the end, Maya realizes that the Rose House is not just a beautiful structure made out of flowers, but a symbol of the power of imagination and creativity that can bring people together in new and exciting ways.
