Jamie gets an invitation from his old prep school to do a residency in their drama department to teach a master class. Steve is baffled that someone like Jamie would be invited until he learns that Jamie has told his alma mater that he's a Tony Award winning director. Jamie's thrilled with the opportunity to flaunt his 'success' in the face of his former teacher, Mr. Hayward, who was sure Jamie would never amount to anything. Jamie arrives at the school and is delighted when the headmistress orders Mr. Hayward to be his assistant; he takes great pleasure asking Mr. Hayward to do menial errands for him. Steve and Katie spend an evening with Craig, a college classmate of Steve's who has always looked down on him, and Craig's wife Carrie. They play charades, and Craig and Carrie win easily, in part because Katie plays so badly. Steve hates losing to Craig and plots a rematch; he realizes Brenda is great at charades, so he buys Katie a trip to a spa to get her out of the way, enlists Brenda to be his partner and schedules another game which they win easily. But Katie finds out and is furious. Jamie has no idea how to teach a class, so he decides to teach everyone how to act like his idol Dean Martin. At first his conservative class is mystified by the bizarre things they're being taught, but Jamie keeps them focused and has soon turned them into a mini 'Rat Pack.' Mr. Hayward calls Jamie's bluff by suggesting that the class give a performance of what they have learned, ...
