The device is essential for their upcoming mission, so the team devises a plan to retrieve it. They follow the trail of the missing device to an abandoned space station where they discover that it's in the possession of Commander Nemex, a former colleague of Loretta's father. The Commander demands a trade for the device, and Loretta must decide if it's worth risking everything to get it back.
