Ep 6. An Amoeba is Eating My Brain

A woman begins to experience strange physical symptoms, like numbness and tingling in her face and hands, and difficulty walking. As her condition worsens, doctors struggle to determine the cause of her illness. After several misdiagnoses, it is discovered that she has contracted a rare and deadly amoeba that is slowly eating away at her brain. The woman undergoes a risky and experimental treatment in order to try and rid her body of the parasite, but it is unclear if she will recover fully or be left with permanent neurological damage. Through her story, viewers learn about the dangers of these microscopic organisms that can wreak havoc on the human body and the importance of early detection and proper medical treatment.
