Move This House Season 1 Episode 8 Mike and Terri Lanfear

The Lanfear family's two boys are growing up fast and their house is bursting at the seams. They weren't planning on a move, but when wife Terri spotted a large home right around the corner on a golf course, it became the perfect solution to their space needs. But while their old home's got character aplenty, the new place is bland - white walls with blocky architecture. We're handling their entire move for them, and our designer Roger Hazard is charged with turning this dull, lifeless space into a functional family home. The Lanfears have to give Roger total say in the overall design, and they're a little dumbfounded at his reaction to his choices of what goes to storage and what will make it to the new house, but host Tanya Memme's at their side to ease their pain. Roger finds design inspiration in their new environment, and a little thrift store shopping along with a creative use of existing pieces helps furnish this large house on a budget.
