Ep 7. Whitney & Tahira

Whitney and Tahira were best friends for over a decade, until one day Tahira ghosted Whitney completely out of nowhere. Whitney was left confused and heartbroken, with no explanation as to why Tahira cut her off. In this episode of MTV's Ghosted: Love Gone Missing, hosts Rachel Lindsay and Travis Mills set out to help Whitney get some closure and hopefully reconnect with Tahira.

The episode starts with Rachel and Travis meeting Whitney and hearing her emotional story. Whitney explains how she and Tahira were inseparable, even living together for a year, until Tahira suddenly stopped responding to Whitney's texts and calls. Whitney was left to wonder if she did something wrong and why Tahira would end their friendship without any explanation. They meet with her and learn that Tahira has a deep fear of abandonment stemming from her childhood. This fear led her to push away people in her life, including Whitney, as a way to protect herself from getting hurt. However, her new girlfriend encourages Tahira to face her fears and make things right with Whitney.

Finally, Rachel and Travis arrange a meeting between Whitney and Tahira. The two former friends sit down together and Whitney tearfully expresses her hurt and confusion over Tahira's ghosting. Tahira opens up about her fear of abandonment and admits that she was wrong to end their friendship without any explanation. The two have an emotional conversation and ultimately decide to rebuild their friendship.

The episode ends with Rachel and Travis reflecting on the power of communication and the importance of facing your fears. Whitney and Tahira have reconnected and are on their way to rebuilding their friendship.
