In the season 10 episode 7 of My Cat From Hell, entitled "My Therapy Cat Needs Therapy," cat behaviorist Jackson Galaxy meets with three cat owners struggling to maintain harmony in their homes. The first cat owner, Valerie, is having trouble getting her two cats, Buddy and Ulysses, to get along. Despite being littermates, the two cats constantly fight and their aggression towards each other has escalated to the point where Jackson fears for Valerie's safety.
The second cat owner, Samantha, reached out to Jackson for help with her cat Willie, who she got certified as a therapy cat to help her manage her anxiety. However, Willie's own anxiety has gotten the better of him and he's become increasingly aggressive towards Samantha. Jackson works with Samantha to understand Willie's triggers and address his behavior.
The third cat owner, Karen, is struggling to coexist with her cat Storm, who has taken to peeing all over the house. Despite Karen's efforts to train Storm to use the litter box, the behavior persists.
Throughout the episode, Jackson uses his expertise to address each cat's specific behavior issues and provides the owners with tools and techniques to help them maintain a happy and healthy relationship with their feline companions. Viewers will also get a glimpse into the unique ways in which cats can help improve our mental and emotional well-being, but also how they can sometimes struggle with their own issues that need to be addressed. This episode underscores the importance of understanding our pets' behavior and giving them the care they need to live full and happy lives as our beloved companions.
