Ep 5. Sixth Toe Surprise

The woman is grateful for the services provided and has promised to abide by Dr. Ebonie's recommendations for better foot hygiene in the future.

In another case, Dr. Brad treats a young woman who suffers from a podiatric condition known as Overlapping Toes or Olygodactyly. This case proves particularly challenging due to the woman having a fear of needles and sharp objects. Dr. Brad uses varied and innovative techniques to treat the condition, including special pads for the toes to reduce pressure and the application of a silicone insole to keep the toes in place.

The episode also features an interview with a pedal specialist and occupational therapist who together, are planning to device a shoe for an individual with an amputated foot, adjusting the foot to fit the right fit. The episode also covers different methods of treatment for skin ailments that occur within the feet and lower limbs, including an innovative device known as the Neubelle, which helps diabetic patients take better care of their feet to avoid the risk of amputation.
