- August 16, 2008
Darby, Solo Sleuth / Doggone Buster is the twenty-sixth episode of the first season of My Friends Tigger & Pooh. In the first part of the episode, Darby goes on a solo adventure to solve a mystery. While her friends are busy with their own things, Darby feels like she's not being helpful enough and sets out to find her own mystery to solve. She comes across a broken wheelbarrow and footprints leading away from it, and decided to follow the trail.
As she follows the footprints, Darby discovers more clues along the way, including a broken jar and a trail of spilled sugar. She comes to the conclusion that the culprit was a small animal, likely a mouse, who had been using the sugar and jar to store food for the winter. Meanwhile, Tigger, Pooh, and their new friend Buster are trying to come up with a way to help Darby with her mystery.
In the second part of the episode, Buster becomes determined to solve a mystery of his own. He believes that someone has been stealing flowers from his garden and sets out to catch them. He spends all night keeping watch, but eventually falls asleep and misses the culprit. The next day, he sets up a trap in hopes of catching the thief.
The gang comes together to help Buster with his mystery, and they all pitch in to stay up late and keep watch. While they don't catch the thief, they do discover that it wasn't a person at all - it was a group of bees who had been collecting pollen from the flowers. Buster learns that sometimes things aren't always what they seem, and he makes peace with the bees.
Overall, Darby, Solo Sleuth / Doggone Buster is a fun and exciting episode that shows the importance of teamwork and determination. Darby learns that she's capable of solving mysteries on her own, and Buster learns that sometimes things aren't always what they seem. Fans of My Friends Tigger & Pooh will love this episode for its engaging storyline and lovable characters.
