Lyon of Scrimmage / Bad News Bear is the second episode of the first season of My Gym Partner's a Monkey. The episode is split into two shorts.

Meanwhile, Jake is accidentally hit in the head with a pitch during practice and becomes convinced that he's a bear as a result. With his unprecedented strength and agility, Jake starts dominating the other team, much to the dismay of Coach Gills and the other players. It isn't until Adam realizes that Jake needs to be cured of his delusion and convinced to rejoin the human race that things start to turn around. After some convincing from Adam, Jake snaps out of it and returns to his old self, helping Adam and the rest of the team win their game against the alligator high school.
