Ep 17. Somepony to Watch Over Me

In My Little Pony Friendship is Magic season 4 episode 17, entitled Somepony to Watch Over Me, Apple Bloom is feeling left out as she is the only member of the Cutie Mark Crusaders who hasn't been taken under the wing of a mentor. As Apple Bloom tries to find her way back home, she encounters a variety of obstacles and dangers. She eventually befriends a wooden cart that she nicknames "Little Strongheart" and together they try to find their way out of the forest.

Back at the farm, Twilight and Rainbow Dash are struggling to find any sign of Apple Bloom. They eventually come across a trail of apple blooms and follow it to find a clue of where she might be.

As night falls, Apple Bloom and Little Strongheart seek shelter in a cave but are soon confronted by a ferocious creature. With some quick thinking and teamwork, they are able to scare off the creature and continue their journey.

In the end, Apple Bloom and Little Strongheart make it out of the forest safely and are reunited with Applejack and her friends. Applejack apologizes for leaving Apple Bloom alone and promises to never leave her without someone to watch over her again. The episode ends with Apple Bloom feeling proud of herself for proving that she's capable of taking care of herself, but also realizing the importance of having someone to watch over her.
