Ep 6. Surf and/or Turf

They're visiting the Hippogriffs and the Sea Ponies, who have come together in an all-encompassing underwater kingdom known as Mount Aris. During their visit, the CMC meet a young Hippogriff named Terramar, who's feeling a bit conflicted. Terramar is torn between two worlds- he loves living underwater with the Sea Ponies, but he also misses life above the ocean with his Hippogriff family.

Terramar's dilemma is given more attention when the CMC learn that a group of young Hippogriffs are about to take their swim test, where they have to decide if they'll live underwater or above the water with their Hippogriff kin. Terramar is having a hard time deciding which world he wants to live in, and the CMC take it upon themselves to help him out. But with Terramar's family pressuring him to choose the Hippogriff way of life, it doesn't look like it's going to be an easy decision.

As always, the CMC get into some hijinks along the way. They get to swim with the cool sea creatures and even race each other. All while trying to help Terramar make up his mind.

Ultimately, the CMC have to come to the realization that Terramar needs to make his own decision, and they should support him either way. Instead of trying to convince him that one world is better than the other, they encourage him to follow his heart and choose the path that will make him happiest.

The end results are both emotional and satisfying, with Terramar finally coming to grips with his dilemma and discovering a path that he's comfortable with. With the help of the CMC, Terramar is able to find that regardless of the choice he makes, he'll always belong and find love with his friends and family.

Overall, "Surf and/or Turf" is a fantastic episode that showcases some excellent morals that people of all ages can appreciate.
