In the 6th episode of season 7 of My Lottery Dream Home, we follow host David Bromstad as he takes us on a journey through the luxurious homes of Jacksonville, Florida. The episode is titled "Winning big in Florida" and follows the stories of lottery winners as they search for their dream homes.

The episode begins and we're introduced to the McCoy family, who recently won $100,000 in a scratch-off lottery game. The family, consisting of husband and wife Darryl and Terri, are excited to start the hunt for their new home. David Bromstad meets them at their current residence to discuss what they're looking for in their dream home. Terri mentions that a pool is a must-have, while Darryl mentions he needs a place to store his prized hot rod.

David takes the couple around Jacksonville to see three different properties that hit all the items on their wishlist. The first property, a stunning Mediterranean-style home, offers a luxurious pool and a large 3-car garage that would easily house Darryl's hot rod. The price tag on this house is $799,000, which is a bit out of their budget.

The second property, a $625,000 modern 4-bedroom home, hits all the right notes. It's got a large backyard pool and a 2-car garage. David notes that the sleek design and minimalist style will suit the couple's tastes perfectly.

Next up, David takes the couple to a more traditional $550,000 5-bedroom home. Upon inspection, Darryl and Terri instantly fall in love with the property. The house features a pool with a slide and a separate pool house, perfect for hosting out-of-town guests. The garage can hold the hot rod with ease and even features a workbench for Darryl's tinkering.

The couple has a tough decision to make. While each property hit all their requirements, they must figure out which one fits their lifestyle and budget the best. We won't spoil the ending, but it's safe to say that the McCoy family gets their dream home in the end.

Next, David takes us to the small town of Bunnell to meet another lottery winner, Melissa. She won $1 million from a scratch-off ticket and wants to upgrade from her current house to a property that is stylish and spacious. She lives on a farm and wants enough space to house her animals.

David shows her an $899,000 5-bedroom home with a stunning pool and a barn, perfect for horses or other animals. The property boasts a gourmet kitchen, a sound system pre-wired throughout the house, and even a putting green. The house also features an attached garage and a detached garage – plenty of space for all of Melissa's future projects.

But, while the house is gorgeous, Melissa is hesitant to pull the trigger on such an expensive property. David takes her to see a smaller, $550,000 3-bedroom home that offers many of the same amenities. While the house doesn't have a barn, it does have space for all of her animals. Melissa is torn between the two and must make a difficult decision.

Overall, the episode provides an inside look at what it means to win the lottery and how people use their winnings to upgrade their living spaces. David Bromstad does an excellent job of walking the audience through each property and highlighting its perks. The homes featured are indeed luxurious and provide a glimpse into what winning the lottery can offer. But, it's not all about the money. Each family or individual featured has a unique story, and the show does well to emphasize that. So, whether you're a fan of real estate or have dreams of striking it rich, this episode of My Lottery Dream Home is worth watching.
