In season 2 episode 17 of MythBusters, the team takes on a variety of myths that may or may not be possible. Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman are joined by their trusted team of experts to conduct experiments and tests to determine whether these myths are fact or fiction.

The first myth they tackle is whether a person can outrun an arrow from a bow. To test this myth, Adam and Jamie head to an archery range to fire arrows at a volunteer runner. They also set up a high-speed camera to capture the action. The team tries different distances and speeds to see if it's possible to outrun an arrow.

Next, they take on the myth that a penny dropped from a skyscraper can kill someone. To test this myth, they use a large crane to drop various objects from different heights, including a penny. They also visit a physics professor who explains the forces behind falling objects.

The team then moves on to testing whether a snake can survive a ride in a vacuum cleaner. They use a vacuum to suck up a variety of materials, including snakes, to see if they can survive the experience. They also consult with a herpetologist to understand the physiology of snakes and how they might react to this type of stimulus.

In another myth, they investigate whether a person can survive being hit by a car if they jump just before impact. Adam and Jamie use a dummy to simulate a person jumping in front of a car, and they also test the myth using a crash test dummy. They also talk to a crash test expert to understand the mechanics of what happens in a crash and how different scenarios can affect the outcome.

The team then takes on the myth of whether a person can skip on water like a stone. To test this myth, they build a special rig to measure the speed and distance of their skips. They also consult with a physics professor to understand the mechanics of skipping and why some people might be able to skip farther than others.

Finally, the team investigates whether a person can survive a fall from a tall building by landing in a dumpster. They use a mannequin to simulate a person jumping off a building and landing in a dumpster. They also talk to a stuntman to understand the risks involved in falling from height and what types of safety measures are necessary.

Throughout the episode, the team uses a mix of scientific method and trial-and-error to test each myth. They consult with experts in various fields, analyze data from their experiments, and use their own experiences to determine whether each myth is fact or fiction.

Ultimately, each myth is given a verdict based on the results of the experiments. Whether it's confirmed, plausible, or busted, the team provides entertaining and informative explanations for each myth. Overall, this episode of MythBusters is a fun and exciting look at some of the world's most intriguing myths and legends.
