As Naruto season 2 episode 86: I Will Be Strong! begins, Naruto, Sakura, and Jiraiya prepare to return to Konoha after their training journey. Back in Konoha, Tsunade assigns Naruto, Kiba, and Akamaru to a mission to escort Tazuna, the bridge builder from the Wave Country. The group sets off, but they soon run into trouble when they are attacked by members of the Hidden Mist Village. Naruto and the others are able to fight off their attackers, but they realize that the Mist Village is after Tazuna.

The group continues on their journey, but they are ambushed again, this time by a more powerful group of Mist Village ninja. Naruto, Kiba, and Akamaru are outmatched, but they refuse to back down. Just when all seems lost, Rock Lee and Tenten appear to help them. Together, the group is able to defeat their enemies and continue on their mission.

As they travel, Naruto reflects on his own weaknesses and the importance of strength. He realizes that he cannot rely solely on the power of the Nine-Tailed Fox and that he must work hard to improve his own abilities. With this newfound determination, Naruto begins to train even harder.

Meanwhile, Sasuke continues his own training with Orochimaru. He is determined to gain the power he needs to defeat his brother, Itachi. However, as he delves deeper into Orochimaru's dark world, Sasuke begins to question his own motives and the sacrifices he is willing to make.
