Ep 23. The Legend of Gold Gardens

Nature Cat is a PBS Kids animated TV series that centers around a house cat named Fred who transforms into a brave and adventurous wildcat named Nature Cat. In season 1 episode 23, titled The Legend of Gold Gardens, Nature Cat and his animal friends embark on a new adventure.

Meanwhile, back at the house, Daisy is trying to finish her painting of Goldie for the county fair. She can't seem to get the right shade of gold, and her painting keeps turning out green. She decides to visit the garden to get inspiration and ends up getting trapped in a golden cage set up by Goldie. She calls for help on her comms device, and her friends hear her distress call.

Nature Cat and his friends think of a plan to distract Goldie and rescue Daisy. Hal pretends to be a golden plant to distract Goldie while Squeeks and Nature Cat sneak up to the cage to rescue Daisy. They manage to free Daisy from the cage, but Goldie catches them in the act and starts chasing them.

The group runs out of the garden, with Goldie close on their heels. Just when they think they're in the clear, they realize that Goldie is still following them. They come to a cliff, and Nature Cat comes up with a risky plan to use a golden boulder to make Goldie think they've fallen off the cliff. The plan works, and Goldie turns back towards the garden.

In the end, the group learns an important lesson about the value of friendship and teamwork. They also realize that the legend of Gold Gardens was real, and they were lucky to have seen it for themselves.
