Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy warned flight reductions could double if the government shutdown drags on, while frustrated fliers from coast to coast are facing travel chaos. NBC News' Maggie Vespa reports. Colombia's defense minister told NBC News he believes the boats that have been hit by the Trump administration in the region are carrying drugs. It comes as the U.S. said it struck another alleged drug boat overnight. In Indiana, a Guatemalan mother of four was shot through the door and killed after arriving at a house along with her husband in order to clean it. Police say the couple mistakenly went to the wrong home. NBC News' Erin McLaughlin asks the county's prosecutor if charges will be filed in the killing. Seen on video is the arrest of the mother of Melodee Buzzard, the California girl who has been missing since early October. Police say the arrest is unrelated to Melodee's disappearance. NBC News' Steve Patterson reports. The NTSB today revealed black box recordings captured an alarm bell beginning to go off in the cockpit of UPS Flight 2976 after the plane began its takeoff roll. Sanchez is facing a felony charge stemming from a stabbing incident with a delivery driver in Indianapolis. He has pleaded not guilty. Fox Sports confirms he is no longer with the network. It comes as the federal government shutdown is set to stretch into its seventh week. NBC News' Peter Alexander reports.
