Ep 22. Plan B

The NCIS: Los Angeles season 2 episode 22, titled "Plan B," follows the team as they investigate a case involving a retired CIA agent, who may be the target of a dangerous assassin. The episode begins with the team attending the funeral of an NCIS agent who was killed in action. While there, they are approached by Diane Borden, the CIA official who worked with the deceased agent.

Borden informs the team that a former CIA agent named Paul Angelo has been targeted by an assassin, and she believes that the killer may have ties to the Chinese government. Angelo was involved in the development of a highly-advanced stealth drone, known as the "Dragonfly," which the Chinese government has been attempting to acquire through illicit means.

The CIA has lost contact with Angelo and they fear that he has been taken by the Chinese. The NCIS team sets out to track down Angelo and protect him from the assassin. They soon discover that Angelo faked his own death in an attempt to disappear and escape the danger.

The team realizes that they must come up with a plan to draw out the assassin and protect Angelo. They develop a plan to make it appear as though Angelo has been killed and arrange for a fake funeral as a means of luring out the assassin.

As the plan is set in motion, it becomes clear that the assassin is not working alone. The team must scramble to protect Angelo and take down the entire group of Chinese operatives who are behind the plot to steal the Dragonfly drone.

While the team is successful in protecting Angelo and thwarting the assassination attempt, they quickly realize that the danger is not over. The Chinese government remains determined to acquire the Dragonfly, and the NCIS team must work to prevent it from falling into the wrong hands.

As the episode comes to a close, the team reflects on the loss of their colleague and the dangers they face in their line of work. They vow to honor their fallen comrade by continuing to serve and protect their country.
