Once Upon a Time Season 1 Episode 10 7:15 A.M.

Emma Swan, the protagonist, is in a melancholic mood after having a heartbreak due to her feelings not being reciprocated by Sheriff Graham. She takes up a case of a missing person in the town of Storybrooke to distract herself from her heartbreak.

The missing person turns out to be Mary Margaret's friend, whom she later discovers was having an affair with David, the man she has feelings for, but who is married to Kathryn. Meanwhile, in the fairytale land, the audience sees the story of Snow White and Prince Charming's first meeting when they are brought together by a "chance encounter" at 7:15 a.m.

Throughout the episode, key moments reflect the significance of timing and coincidence, especially in relation to Snow White and Prince Charming's first meeting in the fairytale land, occurring when they were both running away from their lives for different reasons. Their meeting leads them both to reevaluate their lives, redirect their paths, and ultimately fulfill their destiny.

In Storybrooke, Mary Margaret decides to come clean about her feelings to David on the advice of Emma. David, in turn, puts an end to the affair and goes back to his wife, Kathryn. Emma is left feeling even more alone, but her case solves itself when she discovers the missing person had faked his own disappearance.

This episode showcases the importance of timing in relationships, how circumstances change when you follow your heart and are in the right place at the right time. Emily de Ravin and Meghan Ory make their first appearances as Belle and Ruby, respectively.
