Ep 5. The Doctor

Emma and Mary Margaret are struggling to find a way to break the curse that has trapped them in Storybrooke, but when a stranger named Dr. Whale arrives in town, he offers to help them. However, Dr. Whale has a dark history in the Enchanted Forest and may not be as trustworthy as he seems. Meanwhile, in a flashback to the Enchanted Forest, we learn about Dr. Whale’s troubled past as a brilliant but reckless doctor who is willing to do whatever it takes to revive his deceased brother, resulting in disastrous consequences. As past and present collide, Emma and Mary Margaret must decide if they can trust the doctor to help them break the curse once and for all.
