The whole town bands together to execute this plan, and we see some surprisingly touching moments as many of the characters say their goodbyes to each other with the knowledge that they may never see each other again. It's an emotional moment that highlights just how much these characters have grown and how much they have come to mean to each other.
The episode reaches its climax as Emma, Regina, and the others face off against Pan in the heart of Neverland, where he is about to cast the curse that will erase all their memories. The ensuing battle is intense and action-packed, and it results in one of the most satisfying and emotional moments of the entire season.
Overall, "Going Home" is an incredibly well-crafted episode that manages to tie up many loose ends while also setting up the second half of the season.
