Ep 13. Witch Hunt

Once Upon a Time season 3 episode 13, titled "Witch Hunt," follows the residents of Storybrooke as they are thrown into chaos when a new witch arrives in town. As the episode opens, a group of vigilantes led by Mary Margaret (aka Snow White) have taken it upon themselves to round up anyone suspected of practicing magic. Their search leads them to Regina, who is understandably anxious given her past as the Evil Queen. With the help of her friends, Regina is able to prove her innocence and convince the townspeople to put an end to their witch hunt.

Meanwhile, Emma and Henry are dealing with their own issues. Emma is finding it difficult to connect with her son, who has been distant since they returned from Neverland. Feeling guilty, she seeks advice from David (aka Prince Charming), who encourages her to open up to Henry about her own struggles with abandonment. Henry, in turn, reveals that he has been experiencing nightmares that involve a mysterious figure known as the Wicked Witch. Emma dismisses his fears as childish, but her skepticism is short-lived when they receive a visit from an unexpected guest.

The arrival of the Wicked Witch is a game-changer for the residents of Storybrooke, who are forced to confront a new threat that could put them all in danger. The identity of the witch remains unknown, but her motives quickly become clear when she casts a curse on Regina that freezes her in place. With their friend incapacitated, Emma, David, and Mary Margaret launch an investigation to try and uncover the witch's true identity.

Their search leads them to a powerful sorceress named Glinda, who reveals that the Wicked Witch is one of their own: a former resident of Oz who has come seeking vengeance. The group sets out to stop her, but their efforts are hindered by the witch's ability to blend in with the crowd. Frustrated and scared, the residents of Storybrooke start turning on each other once again as suspicions run high.

In the midst of all this chaos, Hook (aka Captain Hook) finds himself drawn to Emma in a way he didn't expect. While on patrol, he witnesses her defending a young woman who is accused of witchcraft. Impressed by her bravery, he confesses his feelings to her and is relieved to find that she feels the same way. But their moment of happiness is short-lived as the Wicked Witch launches a surprise attack on the group, leaving them all reeling.

As the episode draws to a close, the residents of Storybrooke are left to pick up the pieces and figure out how to stop the Wicked Witch before she can cause any more harm. Despite their fears, they are determined to stand together and protect each other from any threat that comes their way.
