Ep 3. Quite a Common Fairy

In Once Upon a Time season 3 episode 3, entitled "Quite a Common Fairy," viewers are transported to Neverland where Regina grapples with the fact that she cannot use magic. Meanwhile, Tinker Bell is introduced as a new character who has a tumultuous past with Regina and is determined to find her own happy ending.

She confides in Rumplestiltskin, who explains that her lack of magic is due to the fact that she no longer believes in herself. Regina becomes determined to regain her powers and seeks out Tinker Bell's help in doing so. Tinker Bell is hesitant to help her former friend, but ultimately agrees to try and restore Regina's belief in herself.

The rest of the episode focuses on Tinker Bell and Regina's journey to restore Regina's magic. They travel to the spot where Regina and Tinker Bell first met, hoping that it will spark something within Regina. However, as they are about to leave the spot, Tinker Bell realizes that Regina still harbors resentment towards her for leaving her behind. Tinker Bell explains that she left Regina because she knew that Regina would never truly be happy if she stayed with her and continued down a dark path. Regina begins to understand Tinker Bell's perspective and begins to let go of her anger towards her former friend.

As Regina begins to let go of her anger, she is finally able to regain her magic. However, it's not the dark magic she had before. Instead, Regina's magic is now powered by love and light. She is overjoyed to have her powers back and thanks Tinker Bell for her help.

In the final scene of the episode, Tinker Bell reflects on her journey with Regina and how she found her own happy ending by helping her former friend. She looks up at the stars and thanks them for guiding her to where she needs to be.

Overall, "Quite a Common Fairy" is a heartwarming episode that introduces a new character to the show and provides insight into Regina's journey to regain her magic. Tinker Bell's backstory is fleshed out and we see a new side to her as a broken fairy searching for her own happy ending.
