It's Potty Training Time! is the fourth episode of the first season of the reality television show Our Little Family. The show follows the Hamill family, who are all of short stature, as they go about their daily lives.
In this episode, the Hamills are facing a new challenge: potty training their youngest child, Olivia. The family has never potty trained a child before, and they are nervous about getting it right. Michelle and Dan turn to their older children, Jack and CeCe, for help. Jack, who is already potty trained, is especially eager to help his little sister learn.
The family purchases a small potty chair and begins their potty training journey. They quickly learn that potty training is not easy and there are many setbacks along the way. Olivia is resistant to the idea of sitting on the potty, and when she finally does, she doesn't understand what she's supposed to do. The family tries different tactics, such as rewards and stickers, to incentivize Olivia, but nothing seems to work.
In addition to the potty training struggles, the Hamills also have their everyday challenges to contend with. Dan, who works as a college professor, is busy with his job and struggles to find time for his family. Michelle, a stay-at-home mom, is trying to keep up with the household chores while also managing the kids. CeCe, who has achondroplasia, a form of dwarfism like the rest of her family, has a doctor's appointment scheduled to check on her condition.
Throughout the episode, viewers get a glimpse into the Hamills' daily lives. They see the family working together to potty train Olivia, as well as the challenges that come with having three children of short stature. Despite these challenges, the Hamills remain positive and dedicated to their family.
In the end, the family is able to successfully potty train Olivia. It's a small victory, but one that means a lot to the family. They realize that parenting is difficult, but with patience and perseverance, they can overcome any obstacle. The episode ends with the Hamills happy and grateful for their little family.
