Ep 3. Love Triangle

Our Wild Life follows the family of Bobbie Jo and Jerry Abrams, who run a non-profit animal shelter in South Carolina. The show documents the daily lives of the Abrams family as they care for more than 80 animals, including goats, horses, pigs, rabbits, and more. In season 1, episode 3, titled Love Triangle, viewers get a glimpse into the complicated world of animal mating.

Bobbie Jo and Jerry are expecting three new arrivals at their shelter: two alpacas and a male goat. Professor Goat, a newcomer to the shelter, has taken a liking to Chops and has been trying to woo her away from Sir Hops-a-Lot.

The situation becomes especially complicated when Jerry discovers that Chops may already be pregnant. If she is, the question remains: who is the father of the baby goat? Is it Sir Hops-a-Lot or Professor Goat?

Bobbie Jo and Jerry must navigate these tricky waters while also dealing with the regular demands of their shelter. Bobbie Jo has a full schedule of appointments to see to, including a pig who needs a checkup and a chicken with a case of mites. Jerry, meanwhile, is busy with his carpentry work and needs to build a new goat house to accommodate the expanded family.

As the goats continue to fight over Chops, the alpacas finally arrive, and the family sets about introducing them to their goat potential mate. The alpacas are skittish at first and not too keen on the idea of a new male in their territory. The goat, meanwhile, seems interested but a little unsure of what to do.

Over the course of the episode, viewers will get an inside look at the challenging and often unpredictable world of animal mating. The family's interactions with their goats, alpacas, and other animals make for an entertaining and heartwarming watch. By the end of Love Triangle, viewers will be left wondering who the father of Chops' baby goat is and whether the mating experiment with the alpacas will be a success.
