Over Your Head Season 9 Episode 9 Exterior Siding Emergency

When Jeff Dando and his wife Carolyn McGrath moved into their 80-year old house, it was covered in vines and roses. The walls you could see had been painted antacid pink. Carolyn was determined they could repaint the house themselves, but she was pregnant. That left Jeff, a novice do-it-yourselfer, to his own devices. He coated the house in stripper and managed to remove a layer of latex paint only to be confronted with decades-old red oil-based paint. He tried to sand the paint off with an orbital sander, but the tool's head broke off and flew into the street before he could make much progress. Host Eric Stromer and Contractor Andy Hampton arrive to help Jeff install new redwood siding.
