Ep 24. I'll Show You Mine

While Julia turns her focus towards Perry as Claudia struggles to avoid sex with Cody, Charlie is determined to find a new apartment. Yet, fearing that he'll slip away once again, Kirsten turns down an offer to finish her doctoral dissertation so she can stay in San Francisco. Meanwhile, as he prepares to host an important dinner that could mean lots of new business, Bailey asks Sarah to set aside participating in a student demonstration in order to help him out. After bringing her to a faculty social gathering, Perry asks Julia to reciprocate by taking her to a fraternity party where a drunken bartender's advances quickly forces them to leave. When Claudia unexpectedly ends up with a huge party on her hands after inviting some friends over to run interference with Cody, Charlie hears that Kirsten turned down the offer in Chicago and insists she not rush into anything. And after learning that he's still being tested for cancer, Kirsten insists on being with Charlie when he gets the results. Meanwhile, after helping Bailey and Sarah clean up following her unplanned party, Claudia tells Cody the truth. And though she hoped for some understanding, Cody takes offense and leaves. Already uncomfortable with the small talk she has to make with Bailey's guests, Sarah lashes out after discovering one of them own the company she and her fellow student activists have targeted for a boycott. Though initially appalled at Sarah's candid attack, Bailey decides to respect her views and even joins her on campus for a sit in. Meanwhile, after Perry offers to help get a story published, Julia's kiss leaves them both feeling uncomfortable. As Perry is reluctant to let her own homosexuality be a testing ground for Julia, Claudia apologizes for not trusting Cody. And while Claudia decides it's safe to experiment with intimacy, Charlie turns down a new apartment to stay with Kirsten.
