Perry Mason is an American drama series, which follows the story of a defense attorney named Perry Mason, who solves complex murder cases along with his team. The third season of the series has 26 episodes and the 19th episode of the season is titled "The Case of the Bashful Burro".

In this episode, Perry Mason gets involved in a bizarre murder case when he is visited by Ed Gibson and his wife. Ed Gibson is a soft-spoken and humble man who runs a small gas station on the outskirts of the city. Ed is accused of killing a man named George Andrews, who was believed to be a friend of Ed's.

Ed Gibson claims that he did not kill George but the evidence against him is strong. The police found George's body in Ed's gas station, and the murder weapon was a crowbar, which was seen lying near Ed's gas station. Ed was the last person to see George before he died, and the two men had an argument over a burro.

The burro in question was owned by Ed's neighbor, a man named Joe Hurley. Joe had offered to buy the burro from Ed for a cheap price, but Ed refused to sell it. George Andrews had intervened in the argument and had tried to take the burro away from Ed, but Ed had chased him away.

The police believe that Ed had killed George in a fit of rage, but Perry Mason believes that there is more to the story. Perry Mason takes up Ed's case and begins to investigate the murder. He visits the site of the murder and discovers that there are several other possible suspects who could have killed George.

Perry Mason meets Joe Hurley and learns that he had a motive to kill George. George had been having an affair with Joe's wife, and Joe had found out about the affair just a few days before George was killed. This discovery makes Joe a prime suspect in the murder case.

Perry Mason also discovers that Ed's wife, Agnes, had seen someone else near the gas station on the night of the murder. She had seen a stranger, walking away from the gas station just a few hours before George's body was discovered. Agnes could not identify the stranger but her testimony provides a new lead in the case.

Perry Mason uses this new lead to solve the murder case and proves Ed's innocence. He identifies the true killer and reveals the motive behind the murder. The real killer is apprehended and Ed is acquitted of all charges.

"The Case of the Bashful Burro" is an intriguing murder mystery that keeps the audience guessing until the very end. It's a testament to the capacity of Perry Mason's deductive abilities and the scope of his legal expertise. The show's narrative is well crafted, and the suspenseful plot keeps the audience tightly engaged throughout the episode.
