Alex Parrish is the twelfth episode of the first season of the American TV series Quantico. This episode was directed by Jann Turner and written by Beth Schacter and Cami Delavigne. It first aired on February 21, 2016, on ABC.

Alex Parrish has been struggling with her inner demons since the beginning of the show. The last episodes have seen her falling further into despair, plagued with flashbacks of her past and her training at Quantico. In this episode, Alex is on a quest to uncover the truth and exonerate herself from the charges she faces.

The episode starts with Alex waking up in a hospital room after the bombing at Grand Central. She is bound to a bed and surrounded by people who consider her a terrorist. Everyone has lost faith in Alex except for one man - Simon. Simon Asher has always been a friend and an ally of Alex since their time at Quantico.

Simon believes in Alex and is determined to help her clear her name. He continues to investigate the bombing on his own and discovers some concrete evidence that could prove Alex’s innocence. But to get to the bottom of the mystery, he needs Alex’s help.

Meanwhile, Alex has to face the consequences of breaking into Agent O'Conner's apartment in the previous episode. She has been suspended from the FBI and is under investigation. Her boss, Liam O’Connor, is interrogating her and trying to find out the truth about the bombing. Liam is convinced that Alex is guilty and is pushing her to confess.

Alex knows that Liam is not the man she once thought he was. There is something about him that doesn’t add up. She believes that Liam may be involved in the bombing and wants to find out the truth. But Alex needs to be cautious as she is being watched every moment.

As the episode progresses, we see flashbacks of Alex’s time at Quantico. We see her training with her fellow recruits – Shelby, Caleb, Ryan, Simon, Nimah, and Raina. Each flashback reveals a different aspect of Alex’s character and her relationships with her fellow recruits.

We also get glimpses of Alex’s relationship with Owen Hall. Owen is the instructor at Quantico and has been a mentor to Alex. He has always believed in her and has seen her potential as an agent. Owen and Alex share a special bond, and he is always there for her when she needs him.

Back in the present, Simon and Alex are working together to unravel the mystery behind the bombing. They discover that the true culprits behind the bombing are not the people who have been arrested. Simon has evidence that points to someone else, someone with close ties to the FBI.

Alex is determined to get her name cleared and prove her innocence. She knows that she is not a terrorist and will stop at nothing to prove it. But with Liam breathing down her neck, her investigation becomes all the more dangerous.

Towards the end of the episode, we see a major twist that will leave viewers stunned. Alex finally gets to confront the person who she believes is behind the bombing. The confrontation is intense and reveals a shocking truth. The episode ends on a major cliffhanger that will leave viewers wanting more.

In conclusion, the twelfth episode of Quantico is a masterful piece of storytelling that keeps viewers on the edge of their seats. The episode has a perfect mix of flashbacks, character development, and suspense. The performances of the actors are outstanding, particularly that of Priyanka Chopra, who portrays the complex character of Alex Parrish with great finesse. With its engaging plot and superb execution, Alex Parrish is one of the standout episodes of the season.
