The culinary based game show Recipe For Deception is based upon the well known game Two Truths And A Lie. The main aspect of the game show is the creation of a dish by a fully trained chef when they do not know what one of the ingredients or the meal will be. Well known chefs take up the roles of judges on the shows, which begins with four chefs taking part in a series of cooking challenges with mystery ingredients. Four chefs begin the show by facing off in head-to-head rounds that see one of the contestants leaving the show after each round. As the cooking game show moves along the mystery ingredient is revealed to the three other contestants, who are then asked three yes or no questions by the contestant about their mystery ingredient. From the answers to these questions the contestant must determine what their mystery ingredient is to create a dish that compliments it.
