Sheriff Got Your Tongue? is the second episode of the first season of the British television show Robin Hood. Set in medieval England, the show follows the legendary outlaw Robin Hood and his band of merry men as they fight against the corrupt ruling class and help the people of Nottinghamshire.
In this episode, the Sheriff of Nottingham (Keith Allen) is determined to catch Robin Hood (Jonas Armstrong) and put an end to his band of rebels. To do so, he employs a ruthless and sadistic new henchman, Guy of Gisborne (Richard Armitage), to find and capture Robin Hood. Meanwhile, Robin Hood and his men are busy planning their next heist - to steal the sheriff's tax money being sent to the King.
However, things quickly take a turn for the worse when one of Robin Hood's own, Much (Sam Troughton), is captured by Guy of Gisborne. The sadistic henchman takes Much to the castle and tortures him in order to find out the location of Robin Hood's hideout. With Much's life in danger, Robin Hood and his men are forced to come up with a plan to rescue him and take down the sheriff's tax caravan.
As the episode progresses, the tension between Robin Hood and Guy of Gisborne builds to a fever pitch. Robin Hood is determined to save his friend Much and stop the sheriff from stealing from the people of Nottinghamshire, while Guy of Gisborne is equally determined to capture Robin Hood and win the Sheriff's favor.
Meanwhile, the rest of Robin Hood's band is also busy with their own tasks. Will Scarlett (Harry Lloyd) is tasked with keeping an eye on the sheriff's accomplice, Kate (Joanne Froggatt), who is secretly working for Robin Hood. Little John (Gordon Kennedy) and Alan A Dale (Joe Armstrong) are tasked with ambushing the tax caravan. And Marian (Lucy Griffiths), a noblewoman who supports Robin Hood's cause, is torn between her loyalty to her father, the Sheriff's deputy, and her feelings for Robin Hood.
Overall, Sheriff Got Your Tongue? is an action-packed episode that showcases the strengths of the show. It features high-stakes action, tense character dynamics, and intricate plot twists. Viewers will be on the edge of their seats as they watch Robin Hood and his men desperately try to outsmart the Sheriff and his henchman.
