Gilbert's troubled spirit has never left the world of the living and so he sees Robin reconcile with his sister. Mistakenly, he believes that Robin and Cleo are in love and that Robin is cheating on Marian and so, unexpectedly, he reappears, intent on avenging Marian by passing judgment on Robin who is totally unaware of what is going on.
