Sailor Moon Sub Season 1 Episode 31 A Reluctant Princess
- October 23, 1995
Usagi has always wanted to be a Princes, but in this episode, she'll find out that being a Princess isn't as glamorous as it may seem. Mamoru is on the hunt for the elusive Silver Crystal, and Usagi is determined to help him in any way possible. But when she comes across a group of girls who are all vying for the title of Princess, she starts to question whether or not being a Princess is really what she wants.
Meanwhile, the Dark Kingdom is still on the hunt for the Silver Crystal, and Queen Beryl has a plan to get it. She sends Jadeite to manipulate the girls who are competing for the Princess title, hoping to use their jealousy and greed to her advantage. But when Usagi and the other Sailor Scouts get wind of Jadeite's plan, they spring into action to stop him.
As the competition heats up, Usagi starts to feel the pressure. She's never been one to back down from a challenge, but the thought of becoming a Princess seems daunting. She's just a regular girl who loves eating and playing video games, and she doesn't know the first thing about being a Princess. But as the episode progresses, she starts to realize that being a Princess isn't just about dressing up and looking pretty. It's about using your power and influence to help others and make the world a better place.
With the help of her friends and the love and support of Mamoru, Usagi eventually comes to see that she has what it takes to be a Princess. She throws herself into the competition, determined to win the title and prove to herself and everyone else that she's up to the task.
But Jadeite is still lurking in the shadows, and as the competition draws to a close, he makes his move. The Sailor Scouts are ready for him, though, and they engage him in a fierce battle. It's a close call, but in the end, the Sailor Scouts emerge victorious.
As the episode comes to a close, Usagi is crowned the Reluctant Princess. She's still not 100% sure that Princesshood is for her, but she knows that she's capable of rising to any challenge that comes her way. She stands tall, surrounded by her friends and loved ones, ready to take on whatever comes next.
